I've just been looking on eBay and seen a town programme from 1926 v New Brighton . What's the earliest known surviving town programme that anyone on here knows of ?

Went for £125. Earliest known programme involving Town was a single card programme for Lincoln vs Town in a Lincs Cup tie from the late 1880's, unsure of the exact date. My old pal Sid Woodhead used to have it framed and hanging on his wall. The Town vs New Brighton programme - wasn't that the one that secured our promotion to the old first division in 1926?

No attempt at ethical or social seduction can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred of the Tory party. So far as I'm concerned they're lower than vermin. Aneurin Bevan.
