It's the biggest game this week, this month too. It could be argued that it's a relegation six pointer.

Does everything think our playoff chances are over then ?

If we don't win tomorrow I'll probably be one of them.

Not that I expect an easy game or us to win, but it is bottom of the table so come on lads, give us somthing to cheer about PLEASE.

our play-off chances were over weeks ago, we are 13 points of them after only 18 games and have lost 10 of those 18.

Short of going on a 10 game winning run they are over, and do you actually believe we will go on a winning streak to make up the massive points difference when we havn't strung more than 2 wins together for years?

I've already said we could win our next 4 league games and stand by it, but it obviously relies on getting the away monkey off our back.

I said months ago our away form would be key to a promotion challenge.

Tomorrow may be last chance saloon but a bit disappointed some have already thrown the towel in because we all know momentum is key.

If Woods can nearly pull off a houdini switching to a "must win" style then I don't see why Scott and Hurst can't.

If we're already thinking of a relegation battle then given our good home form, it's a bit negative isn't it ?

If that statement wasn't an innuendo classic, I would say that you are truly mad 80s.

I agree and also believe we can win our next 4 games, however winning four in a row would still leave us 7 or 8 point off if not more depending on what the other teams do. I reckon we would have to win 9 or 10 in a row just to reach the top 5. Do you really believe based on the season so far we can do that?

As for relegation battle, I don't believe we are in one or will be in one. I still reckon we will finsih comfortably mid-table probably around 10th like last season.

However unless we do have a very very good run of form, for me this season is over, in that it will be a boring middle table one all season.

I would love to comment on this Jock but I fear being sued.

Mr McGee, don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.

Don't really understand your point.
I distinctly remember arguing with lots of people who were saying we're doomed, it's all over etc telling them our home form could get us out the shtook and we ended up taking it to the very last game.

True, but that's not such a huge gap when there's another 24 to play.

No but I don't think we necessarily need to win 9 or 10 in a row.
18 played so far, 28 left.

I'm not basing anything on results so far, I'm clinging to the hope that momentum as a club could take us places.

That said, I'll have all but given up any remaining hope if we don't win tomorrow. (ok maybe a draw !)

We need a very good run of form absolutely !
But as they say one game at a time.

tbh I can't see it happening unless radical changes in attitudes happen.
I think we need to start taking some risks - don't see much point in being stuck in midtable...

If the playoffs are effectively gone then maybe we need to start blooding the younger players like Southwell, Mulready, Bradbury, Thanoj etc for next season.

You mean that must win style when we played that must win game at Burton or the must win game at home to Torquay.

Woods would have difficulty pulling his coat off let alone anything else.

Replaced, not learn is the word of the day but we've no facking money. Though you could argue both 'wingers' don't help much. Anyway, I've had enough, I've put a 28 year shift in so I'll bid you a good day.
