The gist I got from the statement strangely on the accounts was that GTFC want somebody to pay for and build a new ground yet want to receive all the income streams themselves. Sounds tempting?

The council have already built a community stadium....at Bradley. Cant see them financing/part financing another one.


Batch, K.Moore, Waters, Wiggington, Crombie, Brolly, Ford, Drinkell, Mitchell, Cumming, Kilmore. D.Moore, Stone, Liddell. ....1979/80..... now that WAS a team.

I heard a rumour that Council's all over the country are skint. Our own did worse than anyone when it came to central Government funding so I think it's unlikely NELC will be doing a KC.

we also did worse when that useless girl private De Freitas lost £7m in an icelandic bank despite persistent warnings to pull the money out. The people running north east lincs council have always been useless and will do nothing to help gtfc

It's no rumour. All councils (in the north anyway) have lost about 25% of their funding over the next four years.
