Having said that I've taken scores of pictures on the docks over the years (many within the last three years) without any bother from security. On the one occasion I was stopped I explained what I was doing, the guard had a homosexual while we chatted about how the docks used to be, he got back in his van and drove off.

It depends where you shoot it from. If you take a picture of it from the flyover using a powerful lens (like I've done in the past) then there is no problem as you are standing on public land. However I suspect Bullitt wants to take closer pictures of it and therefore it means being on the docks, which is private property as it belongs to ABP.


So that's how Google gets away with it, by doing it from space!
No-one owns space yet, do they?
