Re your signature. . . . . Why will you always remember a team of expensive foreigners beating another team of overpaid expensive foreigners?

Is it because you have never known GTFC have success?

Obviously if someone bid £10million that new contract wouldn't mean a lot!

is he just stating the obvious or does he mean there's a minimum fee release clause?

Sorry but I can't remember him ever getting booed at all while he was here. Some thought Atkinson had more potential and he didn't look too good in a foreign position when Newell played him as a holding midfielder, but I don't remember anyone ever booing him.

Let's hope Town have the balls to demand the sell on fee paid in full,
Did we get the sell on fee for rob jones in full too?
We should be asking Swindon for £100k this season rather than over 3 seasons at £50k a season.

We should demand his sell on fee.

We didn't want to sell Ryan, who had made well over 100 appearances, many as captain. And it was Neil Woods who rescued him from obscurity as a youth. Peterborough can claim practically nothing in developing him. If he makes it to the prem, it'd be churlish to say it was as a result of his time at Grimsby, but the club did alot for him. Fat Fry sweeping in with duffle bags full of cash doesn't change that.

Is 20% the norm for selling on fee's, we should of let him go for 250k and 50% sell on clause.

Always the lower league clubs that get absolutley robbed.

Lol. So buying a young defender and making him a regular choice starter in higher divisions than he would have otherwise been playing at is not in anyway bringing him on or developing him ??

That's the deal, why wouldn't we?

If a Premier League club signs him, it'll be because of his Championship (or under 21) performances. For Peterborough.

I bet he's a much better player now than he was 2 years ago.
