Judging by the fans comments and those of Paul Hurst, clearly town played very badly last night. I really feel for those who spent 9 hours, and plenty of £s, travelling down there only to witness a shambles. Ideally those fans deserve to be compensated, but there are practical difficulties with that. Therefore I suggest that the 13 players who spent time on the pitch plus the two managers all put £1 for each fan who attended (190 or so I think) to go towards a local charity, says the children's hospice. This would mean £190 from each of them and this would add up to £2850 for the charity. What a great gesture that would be and maybe those that went might feel at least some good had come from their efforts to support the team.

That would only cover his costs for 4/5 weeks. Then what?

Noble suggestion but if they can't be arsed to earn their wages for 90 minutes work then why would they give some of it away.

Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.

Jesus’ disciple Peter, picked up a fish to get the tribute money from it, Jesus left his thumb print on the fish, bless'ed is the Haddock.
