I've just heard the end of Andy Gray and Richard Keys interviewing Dave Booth on Talk Sport (around 12.35pm), as part of their Brits Abroad series.  As many of you will know, Dave is managing a team in Cambodia and has been working in that part of the world for some years now.

In the bit of the interview I heard, the ex-Sky guys didn't ask Dave about what he thinks of his former teams Town and Darlington being in the Conference. Dave was just talking about there only being 10 teams in Cambodia and they all play on the same pitch, with four games per weekend - and great crowds, as there's nothing else to do there. Dave's top player earns £/$500 per month!

After the interview, Andy remarked to Richard that he could remember playing against Dave Booth in the League Cup for Everton (in 1979), when we beat Everton 2-1! - I'm not sure if Booth was playing in that match - he may have already retired through injury.

Anyway it was great to hear Dave on the radio - he hasn't lost his Barnsley accent!
