Doesn't matter anyway because England just showed why they will never win a tournament.

Technically and mentally weak.Rooney got sent off because he was no longer getting loads of the ball as he was first half and was getting frustrated.His mistake led to their first and his poor touch resulted in the sending off.

Yes, it is a big flipping deal. As it turned out it didn't matter, we scraped the one point we needed, but we don't need that kind of mentality in the European Championship. I seem to remember another certain Man U player doing similar a few years back. I suppose if he'd cost us our place in the tournement you'd have told his teammates "Don't like it, don't play"

MR Rooney may well be one of the best players in the world, but he's intercourse all use to anyone if he's stuck in the changing room.

What I don't get is why is a straight red for violent conduct only a one game ban....I always thought it was three or is it not the same in internationals?
