My band, LOOSE ENDS, will be watching the game in the Bevvy Bar on Beverley Road, while we set up the PA, lights and other band gear, then waiting for the match to end before playing our rock covers sets.

Should be a busy night - always good crowds over that side of the river!

I didn't think it was the band you lot were thinking about, as no way would they cover rock

I may see if I can pop down, though it is a flipping huge treck for me

We play rock covers from late 60's through to the 00's, from the Spencer Davis Group and Free, through Bryan Adams, Thin Lizzy, Snow Patrol, Cutting Crew, Stereophonics, and many others - 5 piece band with two lead guitarists, one of whom also plays a few keys on the songs, and three of us warbling on the vocals and harmonies, including yours truly!

If you pop down, Marinerian, I'm the bald drummer at the back !

The name - LOOSE ENDS - came from the loose jam band line ups at The Trawl jam nights several years ago - it's been our 2nd line up under this name and we've been going for three years in this format, but an injury requiring a knee op and long term recuperation means a temp guitarist from now until next year.

Breaking in a new to us guitarist tonight after one quick rehearsal on Monday - did the whole two sets of music in one go, so looking forward to letting rip tonight!
