It's a shame we have to enter this proper tinpot competition as our participation embarrases me. I hope we field the weakest team we can without attacting a fine and lose in the first round as quietly as possible. Then we can concentrate on our only objective (promotion) this season.

That aint gonna happen so a day out a Wembley in the tinpot cup will be good for the clubs shambolic finances and might see us have a club next season :p

Not sure I could be arsed to go to London to watch that. I'd be red faced throughout the ordeal.

Back to the old debate - promotion or cup run.

If you plan to do both you've got to rotate things around, at least in the early rounds.

If a 2nd string can't beat Armthorpe Welfare....
