Dont know the match but he got himself sent off.

the player who got sent off was a scouser,all the bets where put on in the merseyside area......ffs wonder who cracked this case insp cleuseau (sp)

Thank you for providing an interesting topic here. The controversy thickens and the scandal just gets uglier as more information surrounding the incident come to light. Wayne Rooney's father was arrested due to a betting scandal in Scottish football. The arrest follow a lengthy investigation by Scottish police that currently centre on one match from last season that saw Motherwell lose 2-1 to Hearts and midfielder Steve Jennings sent off for a second offense. I never thought his name would be in the news for crimes! In fact Rooney's father is not the only dad in the spotlight today because a [url=http://www.newsytype.com/12989-fight-with-wooden-sword/]father was arrested after forcing daughter to a sword fight[/url]. That was quite unusual! Well, dads should be role models but how come fathers are now in the limelight today? Well, let us see if they can clear their names. To conclude about the arrest of Rooney Sr., he has been released on bail and I bet he isn't happy about the charges! Who will be? According to his attorney, Wayne Rooney Sr. has denied any wrong doing and vowed to clear his name.
