Well it's not going to be £2.5m is it  

I think we got £100k when Jack Barlow went to the KerCee so with Southwell being slightly older and hopefully a bit better developed we should get a bit more. We bloody need it after the friendly that was cancelled. But remember Burge, Peet and Bird had trials at big clubs and couldn't even be kept on at town so let's not get too excited.

Is Southwell still a YT or did he get a contract?

I reckon it's pretty sad that we have to sell kids for a fraction of what they would be worth in a few years . It was these transfers in the past like croft , oster and more recently Bennett that kept us afloat . £100 grand here and there does fook all

The players mentioned had made an impact on the first team. Dayle has yet to do that. Others mentioned Peet and Burge,neither of which made any inpact at forst team level and so far have done diddly squat elsewhere.

Don't get me wrong I have posted several times that imho, Dayle is our best product for some considerable time. Having said that and considering our level, if we were to get £200-£250k up front with a shed load of add ons we are simply not in a position to turn it down

i see the lad a few times in pre season and know he as made the bench but how long is he away from getting into the team ?
The young man Jack Bradbury looked a very good prospect when i have seen him also
