Quoted from Tommy
While were talking about youngsters....

can anyone clear up what the OS mean by "Jack Bradbury is ineligible because of his age" for the FA youth cup qualifying game?

He's a 2nd year YT now isn't he? Is he ahead of his age group or something, or too old?

too old- technically he is in his '3rd year'.

Perhaps he got an extension due to being out with an injury for quite a long time?

I think I'Anson has had a slightly bum deal so far.
Done very little wrong, is improving and could be head and shoulders better than the rest with experience. Certainly got more pace.
Given a tough choice I think any manager is slightly reluctant to favour younger players because he doesn't want the older pros sat around twiddling their thumbs or to be excess to requirements.

Agreed L'Hanson is the one who seems to have the chance of breaking into the first team on a regular basis, hardly put a foot wrong given his age and lack of opportunity. Patience will be his best assets at the moment, should Pearson or Kempson get injured were left with Garner so Charlie may well get more games as the weather and pitches deteriorate and injuries increase!
