He scores scrappy goals and picks up loose balls in the opposition box and knocks them in. The kind of goal we don't normally score isn't it, when no-one wants to take on the responsibility of shooting. I've posted several times about his scoring record, but no, our know-it-all's who have seen him play two games have decided he's excrement so he must be excrement. So.... Mafoko needs to train at racing down the wing and slinging low balls into the box ready for Elding to convert. That's one wing solved, just need a winger to supply on the other wing.... Coulson or Hearn drifting wide if play allows? It would seem to show him as a central striker able to wait for good delivery in order to score... now to try that out in training and matches !

If our crossing needs improving for better service to the front men, why not instead of running to the byline, then crossing it into the box back towards the penalty spot, given the defender the advantage, we get the cross into the box earlier which might  catch the defenders on the wrong foot. I will happily convert, like i did with Rob Jones IF he starts producing something to justify it. Missing a great chance last night did not help his cause.
