It should be a good gate today playing a team like Wrexham but has the unrest in the boardroom dulled peoples interest, it has mine to a certain extent lets hope the negativity stays off the field. UTM

Just over 3000. We are still the fourth best supported club in the division. If you add together all the attendances at all the Hayes home games so far this season you still wouldn't reach our average gate. The Fishy has more members (excluding the ubiquitous "guests") now than our average gate  - does that mean more people follow the Fishy than Town

3.515. Does anyone know how many Wrexham brought? I was listening for it but then some sharp object started screaming "ENGLAND, ENGLAND" in my ear from the row behind me as the tannoy announcer said "We like to thank all those fans who have travelled from Wales, all one hun...."

How is beating a team that is going to be relegated an 'amazing result'?

Very good start to the season though.

OK, I'll rephrase it:

How is beating a side in the relegation zone (at home) who are amongst the favourites to be relegated an 'amazing result'?

I think that was a good attendance at Blundell Park yesterday, nearly a thousand more than Mansfield, who've been on an excellent run, pulled in. Only York (in THE BSP) had a higher crowd, and that was only twenty or thirty more, for a match with favourites Luton Town.

I wish we'd stop the clapping away fans when it's announced how many of them are here.

What are people clapping them for? For supporting their team? Well that's all we are doing too. You don't see the away fans clapping when we announce the total attendance do you!

And Luton fans made up 606 of the attendance at York.

I like the clapping, it's very polite, and we've been starved of opportunities to clap in recent months / years. And if nobody else does it, that makes our club unique.
