Not sure they would get any one better than Town to employ them. Their record in the Conference is still fairly shite.

If you had put this slightly better you may get a better response because there is an elimant of truth in that. They wont walk, not in a million years, this is a big challenge for them and one I predict them to do well on given time. What I do agree with you on, is that they are clearly frustrated and they've shown it on a number of occasions. Maybey they were promised more money than they were given, but it's clearly hindering them slightly. That said; they did know the budget and they knew it wouldn't be stretched much further.

That is a real danger, along with the possibility that Mr Parker, and whoever he puts in charge of running the club, may well have their own man in mind for the manager's position.
Yes, PSGMariner, their record in The BSP is hardly earth-shattering as yet, but perhaps there's an owner out there who can see their worth.
Kettering fans are still bemoaning the fact that Marcus Law found himself a more secure job when there was apparent turmoil at The Poppies in The Summer.
I say again, how sad if the current circus at shareholder level cost Grimsby Town their best hope of a return to better times in years.

Getting managers or players is not particularly hard. Getting rich businessmen to provide the level of funding we have been receiving in recent years is a lot harder.

I hope he does otherwise we will still be plagued by Fenty's mistakes even after he's gone

. . . . and quite rightly too, JF (to use his own words) has devalued the product to the point where we are far less desirable to any potential investor, he has taken us from the upper echelons of the championship to the conference and the brink of dissappearing.

JF will no doubt continue to make the proposition of taking on GTFc even less desirable by stipulating the repayment of his loans.  basically owning a football club is a rich man's game it is just our rich man fenty wants his cake and eat it.  He makes loans to the club that keep the club afloat in the short term but jeopardise the long term future of the Club.

I really am getting quite sick of thew sychophantic nonsense posted most porominently by Grimrob who appears to disappear further up the Fenty digestive tract every statement he makes on here.

Look how many football clubs in this division and the division above work on budgets and attendances lower than ours yet people still adamantly beleive that Fenty has been the saviour of this club.

Just picture yourself being repeatedly swaffled by someone for years and then saying thankyou for the experience. . . . thats grimrob that is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Question - IF Mr Parker takes control via the use of a "brought in from outside" chairman, is that person going to be a true shareholder / investor with personal wealth to bring on top of already "commited" finances, or an employee drawing a wage / salary from Mr Parker to act on his behalf in the boardroom?

Two people have over £2.5 million invested in this club, with a senior position possibly proving to be a mute point that could lose our team both of their previously and supposedly guaranteed investments !

Are these two going to let the current situation potentially lose them BOTH their investments by 90% if we go into administration after this season ?? - you would think not - I hope neither have that amount of spare wealth to blow over a directors' argument !

Again, we've had a win - will the crowd expand on Saturday?

9 out of 12 points in the last 4 games, loads of scoring chances, open play, ok, it's not league football, but we're winning more than we're losing at the moment.

What have the players to to do to have a crowd on Saturday heading for 4,000 at least?

Players and both managers want to see and hear vocal supporters behind the team - this ground used to be worth at least a goal start every home game, not any more!
