Am about half way through this book and enjoying it.

Angie Beasley (nee Chapman) was a local girl who won loads of beauty pageants and is now director of the Miss England competition. Loads of interesting stuff about growing up in GY / Cleethorpes in the 60s / 70s.

Did anyone know here back in the day? Her boyfriend Mark supported Chelsea (boo hiss!).

Bet the Gy/Clee bits are interesting, but in general I have to say I really hate biographes. So self-indulgent and assuming, and so many of them now coming from minor 'celebs' who have actually achieved f*ck all in their lifetimes.

No problem I understand where you are coming. You very literally get 1 side of a story with an autobiography and most of them are a pretty much a defence of what they have done wrong in life.

we used to play football and went to school with her brother, mark. if its the same angie chapman im thinking of,good-looking lass even at that age (13 or 14) she would have been possibly.
