Trouble is he wont be getting a contract with us either no matter how good he is as ive read that hes only here for a month because of the amount of games weve got to play in September

I am sure I heard he would get an extended month then try and sort out a contract in jan if he keeps it up.

Indeed he did, and after the game Green said he'd like to stay as it was a great bunch of lads & management team, but hadn't been told they were trying to get him a deal. Fingers crossed they sort it out because he's been excellent when I've seen him. Reminded me of Macca.
