I thought that Scott was absent, still if the teams playing well whats the point of shouting the odds, TBF even at 1-0 down I just knew we were going on to win it,so one sided

I agree about Disley.  I prefer a captain to be giving instructions on the pitch, encouraging the team and organising. I don't agree with this "He's professional and leads by example" reason to be made captain.  You can hear Anthony Church more than anyone on the pitch and is probably a preferred choice for me.

I too think the managers were less animated than usual but were still getting up and giving out instruction. Especially towards the end when Rob Eagle allowed them to take a short throw and whip it in the box when they grazed the top of the bar. Scott had a right go at him for that and rightly so as that could of cost us.

for me, church is to fragile for captain.

disley is a great player but agree, not the most vocal.

i dont normally agree with keepers having the role, but Mckeown, IMO is our best signing and should be captain !

I don't think wer'e seeing Church at anything like his best though. That back injury took some getting over, I'd imagine he'd have started every game for us otherwise.

I know, I was close to handing out a negative reputation mark just for that.
