Lottery syndicate idea

This is just an idea I've been mulling over. How about we have a lottery syndicate. Any winnings under a certain amount (say half a million) we keep and distribute amongst the syndicate. Any winnings above that amount go into a trust which is run by the members of the syndicate and which is earmarked for GTFC. No member can take his share out of the GTFC fund. What happens to the GTFC fund is to be decided amongst the members on a democratic basis. It needs fleshing out a bit more but that's the general idea.

You'd probably be better off just putting £1 p/w in a jar than waiting for lottery wins.
