OK we have no chairman or vice chairman, so what next? The twit of the Week votes seem to have been the final straw. The collective "wisdom" of this forum must decide the next move as "The Fishy runs Grimsby Town Football club". Revolutions are easy it's what happens after them that's the hard bit.

I am sure Robs message was said with his tongue well and truly in his cheek...
I don't believe even the biggest Fenty fan could say he did a good job and even Fenty himself would find it difficult to argue that he did. It is only normal for fans to now wonder where money, leadership etc will come from...it is now set up for Mr Parker to make a response, and whatever his response, it needs to be sooner rather than later...

I'll stand, here's my manifesto: - Get rid of the burger vans and get the staff from Steel's and Leon's to run the kiosks
- Give Scott and Hurst a new three year contract
- Ban Radio Hull from Blundell Park and get Radio Lincs to do our games instead
- Same as above but with the Telegraph - let the Cleethorpes Chronicle have all the exclusives

Radio Lincs won't touch our games, the telegraph won't exist soon, and Barry and Paul's contracts are long enough at the minute...as for the burger vans, regardless of their shocking standard they are the only thing Fenty got right, money up front and no costs for the club...

Town without Fenty is like Libya without Gadaffi. GTFC has been a dictatorship for many years. Fenty has made every major decision, paid every bill. Even the AGMs have been a mock show of hands for one man has been entirely at the helm all these years. But that does not mean his demise is necessarily good. We have to now stand on our own two feet without the means to do so. I also think it's a nonsense to call Fenty incompetent. Most of his big decisions have received broad approval at the time (all the sackngs for starters), his biggest fault is he was too sensitive to criticism. Libya might be worse without Gadaffi (Iraq probably is without Saddam), so too may we.

What rubbish! Who apart from Fenty was overwhelmed with Rodger's appointment? or Woods, or Scott and Hurst, or Buckley? As for the sackings, I think it was a mistake to sack Buckley and Woods and also to let Slade go and then not re-appoint him. I'm sure there will be many who disagree with me but I think that just proves Fenty's decisions have never met with broad approval.

don't talk rubbish. . . maybe the 'food' doesn't lose money but ffs it says something about us as a club (in europe's food town) to be supplying such utter cr4p. . . . . everything about fenty was about penny pinching and look where it got us. . . . skint, three leagues lower and in a decrepit stadium!

Do you define broad approval as your personal views? I still think sacking Woods was a shocking decision probably the worst of the lot but I am in a minority I believe, I never mentioned the apointments either,

Definitely not. I just think that all the big decisions (and that includes appointments as well as sackings) made by Fenty have never met with broad approval on the Fishy. I'm in the minority with you about Woods.
