Started off at the Magnet yesterday, but after waiting 15 minutes to get in was waylaid by 4 Town fans, one of whom was taking photos of the beers on offer in the doorway, thereby denying me entrance. Shame on them, ales are to be drunk....Have to say though that these were real gentlemen fans insisting I was served first once I'd got past David Bailey. It was a cracking pub with about a dozen hand pumps, and bottled beers from all over the world. Then down to the Crown, in the shadow of the massive viaduct, which had 16 real ales, and a bottled chocolate stout at 10.1%. Class. Same Town fans were also present in this pub as well. Stalking snappers, am starting to get a tad concerned.


No attempt at ethical or social seduction can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred of the Tory party. So far as I'm concerned they're lower than vermin. Aneurin Bevan.
