A very fair summary Rich well done.

Pretty sure it's pronounced McEwan.

Because of course every goal conceded is the goalkeeper's fault.

On the RH commentary they call him McEwan - and as Kenny A is a Sweaty he should know.

We've only let in 4 in the past 6 games, and 3 of those games we've kept a clean sheet.

McKeown is of Irish extraction, isn't he? Not sure why somebody north of the border should necessarily know how to pronounce his name!

Regardless, he does seem like a decent keeper and I like the way he tries to catch the ball instead of just punching clear all the time as has become commonplace in modern football. A goalkeeper, catching the ball? Who'd have thought it?

One thing that is different so far this season is that opposition teams don't seem to be scoring as many long-range belters against us as they have during the past couple of years. Perhaps this is due to the way our defence and midfield is set up?

Apart from him looking a supremely confident goalkeeper and an excellent signing for us... how do you pronounce his name?

It seems to be 'McEwan' but McEwan is a name in itself. Am I silly for just pronouncing Mc-Keown?

By the way, if you haven't already read it (and you're not bored by the topic yet) here's my review of yesterday's win: http://wp.me/p1FK1u-15
He was called McGowan over the tannoy at one of the away games. Think it was at Braintree

They're all Celts!

Sorry thought he was Scots (of Irish descent).
