How did it happen? Couldn't recall a tackle going in and was watching the ball and then when I saw him on the floor it was quite a way away from where the ball was.

Seemed to me to be a knee injury when he was shepherding the ball out of play.

Strange he ran half way up the pitch then collapsed.

Re the stewards thing-don't they have to do a "trial run" a couple of times a season to make sure that should the worst happen and we need to evacuate etc that they all know where to go and everywhere is covered? Could be wrong but I can't think of any other reason.

If that's the case heaven help us, because many of them looked like rabbits in the headlights and didn't have a Scooby what was going on

Does anyone else ever look at our stewards and wonder what they would actually do if something serious happened? They look petrified most of theft ed and never look like they know what they're doing...

Tbf I don't think the stewards would have a clue/ panic if (god forbid) something happened! They all panicked when the "to your positions" announcement happened!

On a serious note I Hope the h+y guy is ok though. Never nice to see a player injured

Stewards have gone downhill since Wiggum left the Pontoon Stand. He'd have never worried about anyone bringing a flask in, full of rum or otherwise.

Batch, Crombie, Moore K, Wiggington, Cumming, Waters, Bonnyman, Ford, Emson, Drinkell, Whymark. Love you all, You are the reason I'm on here. You've had help from Todd, Handyside, Futcher P, Groves, Mendonca, Macca etc etc etc. Up The Mariners!!!!!!!!!

I can remember years ago the stewards fighting with some of the town fans ,i think it was against Reading in the cup .It more or less caused a riot with a police car getting rolled and loads of other aggro.
yesterday i looked at some of the stewards and wonderd where they had escaped from ,i see a woman steward tell a young kid that was sat on his dads knee to get his feet off the empty seat in front ,the kids was about 4-5 and lets face it the seats are all coverd in bird excrement
