A club like Town need a network of scouts (whatever the cost) with football knowledge not people with a laptop and a few stats on players. Stats dont tell the whole story you need someone with an eye for a player. I dont know what his excuse for doing this, I work away so missed it. Can some one tell me what Fenty said about this at the time.     In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions. Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them. GOD
