Does anyone know why Sam Mulready is now squad number 31 according to the OS and not 14 as was originally said, and on the back of programs?

Yeah i agree.... if he gets his contract extended. and he does deserve a chance. we arnt scoring and hes a striker

He was 31 last season and the OS has not changed it to his new number!

Will not be given a game until we start winning.

Are they needed? So far all players have been involved in our opening 6 games bar Arthur, Eagle and Mulready and those out injured.

Whats the point in organising a reserve game just for those three? maybe later in the season once the first 11 and bench has settled down there maybe 7 or 8 players not actively featuring and reserve friendlies can be organised then

Mulready won't be needed this season, I think the signing of Elding cemented that. Send him out on loan to get some experience and games.

Good shout, the thing is the way were playing at the minute if the managers throw him in and he plays excrement and we lose, they'll be castrated for throwing him in there at a time like this.
Also throwing a young lad in a team like ours at the minute, no confidence or belief it could have a detrimental effect on his progress.

On the other hand, you could throw him in, he could score and give the team a lift, after all he should be young and hungry and willing to run himself into the ground. Could be the lift a team needs.

Its time like this and situations with players like Mulready you find if the managers have got any bottle.
