Or this?

Cleethorpes O'Neills is where the Victoria Pub was, but don't think this is the same one?  Says 73 and 75 as numbers of the street, not on the corner of Grant Street.

I think it might be Cleethorpe Road. If you look in one of the windows there is a sign for the R.A.O.B. They have been (and still are) on Cleethorpe Road for donkeys years. It's the bit near the Caxtons.

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.

I like the bit where it says, " fishermen loafing outside the pub "

Thanks for trying barralad, I just like looking at old pictures and wondering where they are of and what was happening in those days.  I must be getting old myself.

I think the Victoria was on Alexandra Road, Cleethorpes - just did a quick google search to confirm though and haven't come up with anything, so could be wrong.

There's a crooked street in Grimsby Town
It's a well worn path I've travelled down
Now there's ruin in my name, I wish i'd never got off the train
And I wish I'd listened to the words you said....
...Don't go down to Freeman Street
Don't go down to Freeman Street
You'll be lost and never found
You can never turn around
Don't go down to Freeman Street
