The headline is a classic 'War on the scroungers', basically work or no benefits, it's a great idea but I reckon the government is too gutless to implement it, rather than sticking the bone idle in charity shops, make them sign on every morning, make them prove they have been actively seeking employment, make them wear bright orange jump suits, make them sweep the streets, pick up litter, remove graffiti etc. Instead of chucking money at them, give them food vouchers, if they want booze and fags, they should get a job instead of leeching off society. The founders of the welfare state must be spinning in their graves to see how lazy illegitimates abuse the system, we should round them up, make them earn their keep and instill some values into them.

I don't know about the best front page ever but it has to be one of the rarest. A Sunday Express front page that doesn't mention Princess Diana? Someone call the Book of Records.

While i have a modicum of sympathy for your stance,not everyone out of work is a workshy sponger and my question is simple.Where are all these jobs that they are going to force people to do?

There are more people out of work than there are jobs to go round and if streets need cleaning and graffiti removing,why isn't the Govt paying people a living wage to undertake these tasks?

These people would then have money in their pocket to spend and stimulate the economy and would also be paying tax and N.I,thus contributing to the betterment of everyone.I can't remember the last time i saw a streetsweeper because the council have axed them all.Far cheaper to get the workshy to do it i suppose.

I think the problem is that Cameron is talented at faking concern about things which he couldn't care less about. What does he know about life as a jobseeker? His whole background is privileged, and he just pretends to be a normal bloke, because that is what the consultants tell him to do, the job cuts are all about ideology, and nothing more, and he wants to get his name in history books as the man who waged war on the welfare state, a champion of the right wing fraternity
