Just joined Reading.Think Rotherham paid 100,000 for him while they were supposedly skint and will be getting a good profit on him.Speculate to accumulate and all that.

Be interesting to see if he can do it at an higher level.

He's clearly a brilliant player and seems a top bloke, very rare for the two to be combined these days. I hope he does very well for himself.

Alfie is a great player, but will be interesting to see the outcome. Actually wanted to stay at Stockport - his home-town club - before he joined Rochdale but think he was down the pecking order with Gannon.

Hilly was annoyed that he had to go - would you believe to pay outstanding debts - but looks like the Dale will get quite a cut of the transfer, (as has been rightly quoted circa.£115K), we made sure there was a larger percentage sell-on for any transfer over and above the Millers original deal.
