We recommend changing your password following the recent hack by "Dark Force"

Go to member centre (button at top)
Click on "change password".
Type in your old password
Type in your new one (twice).
Click on the button to save your password

We suggest you use a unique password for the Fishy forum to avoid compromising your password on other sites. Passwords like grimsby, town, mariners, gtfc are also easy to guess!

Can it only be 8 characters?

Just changed mine and didn't realise - took me a while to log back in again as it recognised each keystroke to my 11 character password of which only 8 characters were used so kept knocking me back.

yeah, I had a similar problem. It is limited to 8 characters as far as I know.
