So if you watched yesterday unfortunately Wiggins lost the lead to Cobo, he attacked on a hill my car couldnt get up never mind bike up it. looked horrific (couldnt find a smilie climbing a wall)

Froome stayed in second 20s down Wiggins drops back to 3rd by 46s

Froome is a result of the Great British Empire born in Kenya raised in South Africa but thanks to British granparents is racing for us and aparently has no contract for next year, I think that will change soon!

That hill did seem to go on a bit,

It made me tired just watching them riding up it.

So Wiggins couldn't get back into the Red Jersey and although on the final Mountain finish stage Froome pushed Cobo all the way even with time bonus's couldnt get the Jersey so a British 2 and 3.

Now for the Tour of Britain!

Guess who won stage 1

It's still not the Tour de France, but... Mark Cavendish is the new World Champion. Brilliant performance by Team GB holding it all together. Monster ride by Wiggins on the final circuit. Cav finishes it off in the sprint.  Get in!!!!

Yeah awesome race well controlled though looked like it fell apart a bit near the end so Thomas didn't lead him out.

Also Wiggins got silver in the TT

Absolutely fantastic stuff by Cav and the whole of the British team. It was chaotic over the last few kms but Cav proved again that he can win in almost any scenario. He was a marked man all race and with the help of the team he still managed to pull it off - superb.
