Thing that impressed me tonight was how much we battled and players sliding in for tackles etc, we never seemed to do it much last season.

Thing that impressed me tonight was the fact that we seem to have signed a very good goalkeeper, I thought Mckeown looked excellent tonight.

Mckeown looked great. The best part was were he spun the ball on to the 6 yard line for his goal kick. Top class goalie.

Positives outweighed negatives by far, Good goalkeeping no chance with any of the three, defence played well against a team three divisions above Garner for me was outstanding, midfield looks head and shoulders above anything we had last year and it goes without saying that we are well endowed with good strikers, not forgetting however that match fitness although almost there is still lacking in some

Why do the negatives weigh out the positives for you I think looked great last night we put in good tackles 2nd half I'd say that we had more ball possession than donny and mckeown seemed like top class

McKeown looked good and Disley looked like he wanted to play football properly (on the floor) Hearn looked fit. The back 4 liked to get stuck.

It's the first Town game I've been to for a long time so maybe I'm expecting to much?

Hearn has pace which we lacked last season. First half he was playing wide on the left which is not his best position and looked a bit lost. Second half he played more in the middle with Eldon in support.
Having seen all matches so far, my preference would be for Duffy to partner Hearn with Makofo wide left. At least Duffy wins balls in the air and holds the ball which Eldon does not seem able to do.
