Simply pointing out the new ex GTFC player thread as well mate.  Apologies if my initial reply to the OP seemed to be a bit abrupt.

I didn't even know he was playing to be honest!

Same Vicar, I thought that little pienaar lookalike in the Rovers midfield ran the show.

Oster was the one spraying inch perfect balls to feet from deep midfield in the 1st half . Was perhaps given too much room as the half wore on.

Agree with Super Clive and BP Vicar, the little number 23 completelty ran the show in the second half.

Giles barnes? Ex derby, was supposed to be the next big thing about 4-5 years ago but got an injury and never really got his form back.

If Newport win it b4 heir vist to BP, I will sit in The Osmond dressed as Little Bo-Peep for the match against them!

Shame he went off at half time. I wouldve liked the opportunity the give him a good round of applause in appreciation for his efforts (and great quality) in the past.

Amazing to think he's still playing at Championship level - seems like years since he came back to us for second spell and a different era altogether when he was an up and coming youngster for us.  Or maybe time just passes more slowly in the lower leagues...

That's perhaps because it was!!!
