Someone posted this on TFF, its the predicted table from fourfourtwo magazine. They also did each teams key players which is abit out of date as they had ours as Alan Connell!

York second? Seriously doubt that.

I don't see Fleetwood finishing in the top five. I am not impressed with their signings. Would you want to be in the trenches with Rob Atkinson and Peter Till? I know I wouldn't. The likes of Paul Linwood doesn't inspire confidence either. I predict a mid upper table finish.

That said, I will concede Richard Brodie and Magno Viera will cause problems and get goals but they don't appear to have the quality of Crawley - they lack a Sergio Torres and the afformentioned Brodie and Viera aren't as good as Matt Tubbs.

As far as we go, the prediction looks reasonable considering the strength of our squad. In and around the play offs looks achievable and I find that massively depressing as we should be targetting the title.

I'd be happy with 6th place based on last season, but come the end of the season missing out on the play-offs by one place would be depressing.

York have probably made the best signings of the summer, and have a good manager so will be right up there, I agree about Fleetwood they have the money but I don't rate their manager or some of their signings but they should be pushing the play-offs. The table is actually quite accurate to how I would predict it right now, I would prehaps put Newport above Fleetwood and Darlo, Darlo above Fleetwood, and possibly move Lincoln above Kiddy and Cambridge.

Totally agree. I can see the gap being very small between all the fancied teams this year, which will make the games where we play each other mahoosive.

York have made good signings the past few seasons but always underachieve. As for Fleetwood, they've spent a fortune so anything less than a top 5 finish for them will probably be seen as a failure. I am sure Luton will be in there AGAIN, but if they bottle it this year they may have some issues...Newport the same, last year was meant to be the year they stormed the league and they offered very little if we are all honest.

As for us, i'd be disappointed with 6th because that would be painful to miss out on the playoffs by a place and point or two but it would be a big improvement on last year...i think anything top 5 would be a great season for us.

Interesting that they have Lincoln in mid table obscurity and Stockport very far down....

I would not take much notice of the article not very well researched, they have two of our players down as key players for Tamworth and Cambridge.

why were Newport supposed to storm the league? also they only failed because they lost their manager and best player in Jan. took them a month or too to settle again and finished strongly.

Darlington have a consistent team from last season that had a good second half of the season. They have signed Walshaw from the BSN who finished just behind Hearn in the scoring charts. As well as improving their already excellent defence with Graeme Lee from Notts

They've also got that Kris Taylor and Adam Rundle, I think they'll do quite well this year, but in saying that, I think we will too.

Better because they have a settled side from last year, which was very good in the second half of the year once Cooper got them playing, ours may take time to gel.
If they carry on were they left off, they will be top 5 easily.

As fishfinger says I think we will too, but we have to hit the ground running with a new team, they don't.

Stockport County are the only imponderable in The BSP for the coming season, to me; they could be superb, they could be nearer the bottom than the top. Otherwise 442 seem to have got it right about the top eight, if you remove the obviously unstable Wrexham, though in what order that top eight will be is another matter. There have been comings and goings galore at every club but the eight who're fancied now are the eight of eight weeks ago. I've been saying it since May: this is going to be a cracking season in The BSP, and I predict a very exciting one for Grimsby Town supporters.

York were decent last season and have added some good players this summer. They have an experienced non league manager and i think whoever finishes above them will be promoted!

That looks to be the case ,i'll take the 3 key players though.
Kiddy have been making the signings they are the dark horses for me finished strong last year after problems.
York ,Luton,Mansfield, Darlo.
I think that there will be some poor teams not too many, every season teams are saved from relegation from the BSP by default and its been that way for the past 10 seasons.'
