I thought it was straight from the corner but my view was obscured by the dugout.
Anyway it came from Artus somewhere on the right and flew just in front of goal. Coulson ran onto it but it skimmed just above his head and curled in anyway.

Isnt a corner an indirect free kick ? so it must have touched somebody to be allowed a goal ? or am i being stupid ?

You can score against the opposition direct from a corner.

Bizarrely you cannot score an own goal though.


On Wiki so must be true.
