In all honesty I also heard the same rumour after today's game, however it's exactly that a rumour. He played in every game for us n nit a niggle so unless he's got a knock in preseason then it's just speculation and should be left at that!

The only reason he may have struggled/failed is that he has pushed too hard during his brief pre-season with us and picked up a minor injury.

Or Kempson clattered him on Thursday

Medicals are normally just to check for heart conditions nowadays and not for soft tissue injuries. One of the countries best respected and published physiotherapists works at Liverpool and Andy Carroll passed his medical with them whilst carrying an injury. So unless Connell is due to have a heart attack he should pass it

It is quite rare for players to fail medicals, especially at town.  ;<)

I remember being pelted with ice by the Norwich fans during the Milk Cup match, do you?

If this is really to be believed ,i think you will find that 'failing a medical is usually a way of reducing a transfer
fee, i for one am totally bored with the Connell situation - he's gone, lets accept it and move on - spreading dat rumours does no-one any good - even if he DID fail the medical, what would be his motivation to come back to us following a transfer request?
Lets just move on, PLEASE
