I hope we do but not so sure with having Duffy & Mulready  

Not surprised Connell has gone, but I hope they make a positive signing in the next few days i.e. another 20+ goal scorer from the leagues below.

The pessimists will be out in full charge, moaning about signing unproved players at this level, all I can say is feck off! and lets find a few Tubbs type players.

I am sure if S + H ask Fenty for some money for a striker, John will say yes.

There will be a plan B, these two managers seem to have a good pair of heads on their shoulders.

I feel that a rough diamond on the way up will appear next at BP, it just may not be straight away at the start of the season!

I would like to see us sign an out and out right winger and use Michael Coulson as an out and out  striker,
this lad would score goals IMO, bit of pace and a good strike and he stated a couple of years ago that is his favourite position.

Interesting point this. Michael could play this role and another right sided player would give the team a lot of flexible options

i like the idea of reeves from alty if he scored 15 goals in a side that got relegated am sure he could bang in quite a few more in a stronger side? i dont no what sort of player he is but if he scores 15 goals in a weak side he is most definatly a goalscorer. Correct me if i am wrong but am sure he is from doncaster and with alty being relegated he will obvs want to play in a higher division and am sure for a higher wage, not exactly old ethier being 25 thats the age when strikers are ment to be in their prime... adds up surely?

Having already signed 8 new signings - come January if we 're outside the playoffs imo another player is'nt gonna make much difference to the team

Q 3 - Do you need another centre forward straight away, or have a target in mind?

Sid and Eddie have now stated that they ARE chasing another striker. Sounds sensible to me, think we could find our strike force a little lightweight today with Connell gone and Spencer struggling back to fitness. Duffy and Makofo will be given a chance at least but I think the answer lies in another incoming striker for a strong squad.
