Quoted from Sigone
Kevin Drinkall against York. Think it was in last few mins of a cup replay not sure. Won 1-0.

ANY header by Drinkell.

For me, Matt Tees against Wet Ham, beating Bobby Moore at the ponny end.

Just looked through those cigarette cards, on Stiggs post, & there are two ex Town managers there.

Can you spot them?

Kevin Drinkell against Bristol City around 1980 in front of the Ponny. It hit the back stanchion and came out of the goal with the same poer it went in with. Some City players  thought it had rebounded of the post.....happy days in the Ponny.

Batch, K.Moore, Waters, Wiggington, Crombie, Brolly, Ford, Drinkell, Mitchell, Cumming, Kilmore. D.Moore, Stone, Liddell. ....1979/80..... now that WAS a team.

If I'm thinking of the same game I think it was the equaliser. The winner was Mendonca from outside the box in the last minute. It took a massive deflection and looped over their keeper.

Yeah the other goal was Mendonca from outside the box, great days!

Ian Knight against Burnley, nearly took the back of the net out. Think it was about 1990, we won 4-2 after being 0-1 down.

Lump against Gimps semi final playoff wasn't bad. But Tees headers were special

I remember that one too! Strangely because it was a game I actually went to on my own as a young lad...

Remember Shaun Cunnington scoring in that game at the Osmond End

Think Francis got one back for them late on - god is that really that long ago
