Just got my ticket for this - anyone else here going? I know there are a few gridiron aficionados on here (plus Alvingham who for some reason supports the Chargers  ) Always wanted to go to a game since Channel 4 got me into it in the 80s, didn't expect to be able to get a ticket but I think I've got a reasonable seat and in the price bracket I wanted.

Not cheap but then neither is watching 4th Division crap and having visited the alleged 'Wembley of the North' last weekend (I can only assume that description was some sort of sick joke) I am more than happy to shell out a bit (well, quite a lot) more to go back to the real thing.

I am going this year! I have been to the last two games and they have been brilliant! I am sitting behind the end zone for a change this year.

Now based in reading, do I class as an exile yet?

I've got tickets on or near abouts the 50 yard line in the 3rd row of the top tier. I've got a feeling that this game will struggle to beat the shootout between the Saints and Chargers last year though.

Wouldn't mind going but the cost put me off. A lot more than watching England play proper "football".

There were actually a few seats at 30 quid - they were advertised as 'restricted view' though.

I will tell my bank manager that the games last twice as long as 'proper football' so from that point of view it is actually good value for money. (I won't mention that most of it is advert breaks!)

You also get to see twice as many players.

I was amazed when I went to see my first live game at the fact that they had two ambulances stood at the side of the pitch both of which were used before the game was over. After that I didn't dare watch as Leicester Mariner was playing. I see he's busy touting his old teams game at Donny.

Not going to Wembley, but am tempted by next weekend's games at Donny.

I played against the falcons last year!

if i can get a cheap ticket, most of my team mates are going as well

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

I played against them this year and they were a very good team, their mexican QB is fantastic we couldn't touch him. Shame their games on the saturday when darlo games on   otherwise would go but i'm going to the brit bowl game on sunday

Now don't start Wrawbs, the cheerleaders yesterday were some of the fittest I've seen in years, although I'm told the Icenian tribesmen who were there could not tell as they were in the nosebleed seats.

Don't get the whole thing with American football to be honest. It is too stop start for my liking. I prefer to watch a game that flows a bit more.

Those cheerleaders were seriously fit - in more ways than one. They worked their butts off for the best part of 3 hours, which is a lot more than any of the players did. Really impressive. I'm not sure which I enjoyed more - watching the game or watching them shake their... pom poms.

Well the game died off second half when everyone realised that Tampa Bay were really excrement and had no chance to score any more points, this resulted in an awsome mexican wave!

I think you're being kind to Tampa Bay - the writing was probably on the wall with that first interception and touchdown! It's a shame the game didn't live up to the occasion but not really a surprise. Tampa Bay = GTFC!

It was never going to be a classic but I still enjoyed it and the seats although a little high actually worked out quite well cos all play is totally visable such as gaps in the line.

On another note I didn't play for Falcons I played for Lemmings now Longhorns in BCAFL but I do keep meaning to sign up and will do one day.
