The car in question I think belongs to Adie Carter, he is a chief on TMT, there is also a civvy instructor who is married to Grimsby lady, who has a sticker on his car.  There is a Grimsby family living in Albrighton and a school teacher in Wellington who hails from Cleethorpes.

In the 80's I was on 92 Squadron out in Germany, there were four TOWN fans on my shift!

The careers office in Grimsby used to send in a fairly large number back in the 70's and 80's, I was always bumping into Grimsby fans.

I walked into the mess the other night with a town shirt on and someone shouted MARRRINEERSS at me. One of the lads on another intake is from Louth. There are two Grimsby lads in my block but one hates football and the other is a Man Utd fan who knows absolutely nothing about football.. or anything else for that matter.

Both Telford United and Wolves used to train at Cosford, I always wore my Town shirts when I went into the gym at lunchtime, had a few laughs and some good chats with kevin Jobling and others.

I no longer try and kep fit, plus the teams don't use Cosford anymore.

I was asked to leave the WO and Sgt's Mess bar at Rheindahlan once because I had a Town shirt on, I was picking up a mate, we were off to watch an evening game at Borussia Monchengladbach, I always wore my Town shirts to their games too.
