Harbour Place is a Grimsby based day centre supporting people in finding employment, improving health, etc.  They could win £2000 if you vote for them in the National Lottery awards.  Go on, it will only take a couple of seconds.  Category:  Best voluntary charity project .....click on Harbour Place Day Centre....read more .....then click on 'vote now'.....

Only kidding, just voted. Good Luck

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Done: Been on a couple of their Sports related charity evenings. It is hard not to be moved by the work the sisters do, without the full glare of publicity of others.

Nice one Marinette!

Thanks but nothing to do with me really.  Someone asked me to vote for them.

When I had a look, I thought they seemed like a worthwhile organisation and if there's any national money to be gained it would be nice for it to go to an organisation based in Grimsby.

And voting doesn't cost you anything either.

I have reliably been informed that Harbour Place has now won one of the awards linked with this vote - didn't see it myself, but apparently a bit of extra money will be going their way.  So that's a bit of good news for Grimsby on this gloomy Saturday.

Excellent.

I'm sure your post on here may well have helped

Oops, a bit late for voting now, but not to worry - it all turned out well in the end.
