I voted Murray. Only because I've never backed a winner yet. I hate Murray.

Mr McGee, don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.

Apparently tickets for Wimbledon are on sale for £20,000 a piece. My mate loves tennis and bought two.

He was well chuffed until he realised they were for the game against Forest Green Rovers.

as i see it, if england didnt qualify for the world cup, but scotland did, we wouldnt support scotland, we'd hope they lose and celebrate when they go out in the group stages, so why do we support a scottish tennis player?

Only because most people dislike the Scottish fans and the fact that they chose to have their own F.A. in the late 19th. century which meant they became legitimate rivals. Football as far as I can tell is unique in this context.

Applying your logic people would/should have hated: Liz McColgan, Chris Hoy, David Wilkie, Jackie Stewart, Jim Clarke, Stephen Hendry, Mike Denness, Alan Wells etc. etc.

Did we? Of course not and Andy Murray is and should be absolutely no different. The last time I looked Scotland was part of Great Britain and the United Kingdom.

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.

Non of whom (as far as I am aware) said they supported any team that played England.

As ye sow, so shall ye reap.  Therefore, I did not support him.

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'
