Village green winning now :(

Can't help but wonder whether the penalty decision in our game against Sutton has helped contribute to this winning run. Grabbing a late draw in that relegation six pointer must have done wonders for their confidence and belief.

Early kick-off and failure to get 3 points has given everyone below the incentive to win knowing they get 2 points on us! This could be a horrible horrible day

If FGR and Sutton keep going like this we'll finish 24th.

Swindon look dreadful. Sutton just missed a complete sitter to go two ahead.

At this point today we have won the least games out of all the teams in league 2 - a dreadful statistic in what has been a dreadful season .

We will finish bottom

At lest we have to play Swindon too. But at this rate we need to win some other games too. Right now I can't see it.

Not sure 'gain' is the right word here. We dropped two points that were there for the taking and absolutely crucial to lour survival prospects.

Veggies have 6 shots on target in the first 40 minutes.

Today was the day we should have shown more positivity or maybe it's just the total lack of quality that prevents this.

Swindon look absolutely excrement.
Sutton should be caining them now.

When we play Swindon of course, they’ll look like Man City.

We’ll never know how it would have changed the few weeks since but I don’t think it could/would have been any worse! Just looked at the tweet JS put out on the day and nigh on everyone (bar the usual kiss arses) were perplexed by the decision.

A crazy run of form for Sutton. After managing one win in the first 10 weeks of 2024, they are now set to win 4 on the bounce! I thought that the  late equaliser which should have never been at their place would come back to bite us in the backside, but they'll finish miles above us at this rate.

Completely unrelated to our ineptitude but McAtee sets one up & scored a 30 yarder for Barnsley. Never really replaced him did we?

One last hope to cling to...

Newport home Saturday. Newport losing 0-3 home to Crawley atm. If we've any hope it has to start Saturday!

What's amazing about it?

They play to a system and have finished clinically.

Against the team in 6th, away from home.

Today should have been the day we moved 9 points ahead of FGR. Instead  they are just four behind and look  far more capable of picking up wins than we do.

As for Sutton, well they are getting 12 points from four games while we have got 2.

I am now more convinced than ever that we are going back to the NL
