Form guide last 6 games

Morecambe W4 D1 L1

Town W0 D2 L4

I'd take a point now but can't see it.

If we concede fewer than 4 I will be surprised.

Losing to Morecombe and going 1 down the next game at home to FGR and BP will be a toxic inferno. It's unbearable to think this way but it easily can happen.

We are a bit of a jinx team for Morecombe so we might get lucky.
But FGR will beat us if the David Brent tribute act is still here.

What on earth are you talking about? Our away form is “good”.

It’s not just Saturdays any more for me. Friday night is subdued because we’re playing again on the Sat and then I’m arsey until about Tuesday! Personally I can’t listen to Town matches and I’m not going out of my way to watch games either atm!

It's not Grimsby Town with Artell in charge. We have been hijacked by a charlatan.

Not going to another game while he’s in charge. Complete waste of time, energy and petrol.

Not a complete waste of time.  What we do near me, is we spend a few minutes hoping for a solid defensive performance, then the game.kicks off, we concede instantly and we realise how naive we were and all laugh.  Then we can predict how many will we let in. How ruthless are bothered are the opposition.

Which of our players will give up and fail to mark their opponent first.

It's just a new style of watching that the fans have to get used to til DA bring his own fans in.

Remember, he's only been here 5,6,7,8,9,10,11 weeks (he's stopped.saying that at last) and we won't go down (he's even stopped saying that).

Bring on the 15 Cup finals!   (I wish I hadn't listened to his interview last night)

I'll be there (it's local ish) but expecting a thrashing

Need wholesale changes time for some players to come in from the cold. Wilson, Hunt, heck I'd even bring young Bramwell back from loan and start him in a three in defence. If Kouhri was here I'd start him too but i don't think we can recalla one month loan. Keeper is a massive problem area.

Some of the existing players have to come out of the team as they must be completely shell-shocked, either that or they don't give a intercourse. Whichever it is pointless going with the majority again.

See you there Adam - will probably tie this fixture in with a visit to Wickes ⚽️🪛🔧🪜🔫
Prepared for a defeat
Always odd when Morecambe come out of the tunnel to ‘Bring me sunshine’
The bizzarrest ‘war cry’
Seem to remember Charles Vernam and Harry Clifton combining for a late equaliser a few years ago - so would be happy with ‘Deja vous’

I find my way on 1st leg on tube mentally preparing  brimming  with confidence setting off 9am from KingsCross for the Morecombe  game this  forth coming Saturday
I will be training all week watching  video of Morecombe strengths weaknesses .Their set pieces from throwing, corners and counter attacks .Will work on building up our play pressing opposition. Setting trapps .Be well rested Friday nutrition  hydration  massage fully topped up.The beauty of the pro game .It might be better if I work 60 hrs on the docks or in my case in special needs school wash my own kit clean my own boots pay 10 pound subs  look after children  while playing .Because if can't do the  basics of football go through a player block, tackle be abrasive not dirty You never have Foundation then to play .You might aswell come with me to school for a week and turn up on Saturday  happy because its a release from stress of working a full week And a joy and privilege  to be selected to play for Grimsby .So if don't want to play with your heart and head I've a chair next to my desk in wild demanding special school for a week placement .UTM

The 2 hour video analysis post mortem sessions must be great fun.

I think it’s clear that Morecambe away is the decider - just like Donny away was.

Yesterday was a cauldron, but giving someone their P45 at an unglamorous away game is an easy option. I’m not even critical of the owners for seeing it like that, if they do, it makes sense.

But, if we win…..

Our away form is the second worst in the league, I know we have played fewer games but I’m not looking forward to the end of season run in

Everything points to an away win. Definitely sticking money on it.

I’ll be doing the opposite. We are absolutely nailed on to lose if we keep Artell in post.

Not sure if there’s an element of sarcasm in that..but Phil Norton is prepping his phone/camera right now and reserving a space in Morecambe FC’s car park .. 😂

So last chance saloon at Morecombe.....

So what happens if we win easily.....
.......and then lose againat FGR the week after?

Be honest you lot, how many of you want us to get tanked just so DA get his P45?

PS. I still think we will stay up.

I’ve been accused of being happy when we lose so it gets rid of Artell, but I still want us to pick up the points to stay up - I just think the evidence points to the fact that we’re in deep trouble. I can’t fathom another non league stint, and whilst last time we went down I told myself that was it for GTFC, this time I really feel it in my core that I don’t have it in me.
