Think I've mentioned once before that I'm a "lurker" on the Southampton 'Saintsweb' forum.

I went there for the Cup match, and stayed for the priceless "gallows humour" during their relegation season.

Checking out the response to their win at WBA last night I found this:

https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/news/article/efl-and-puma-launch-footballs-first-ever-rainbow-ball

Not seen it mentioned anywhere else.

I saw it somewhere.   I don't get it.  A ball is a ball.  Do they realise that if the ball symbolizes the LGBT community,  they will be constantly kicked?

Why is it sport that has to get involved with all these causes, BLM, rainbow laces, rainbow arm bands( soon stopped by FIFA at the last World Cup), rainbow footballs etc, never see Tesco, Asda etc taking the knee or wearing rainbow something, or the gas companies, Houses of Parliament etc.
