Have a listen to this week’s podcast and take a shot every time the phrase “You ’know” is mentioned.

I did listen and didn’t notice, and I’m not going back to re-listen to it!

I am late to the party with DN35, only really discovering it less than a year ago. I’ve previously been negative about it on here as the first couple of listens very much felt like it was several friends just having a chit chat, and listeners like me who don’t know them very much felt as outsiders.

I’ve listened to a few now, got to know the presenters’ characters etc, and have to say I enjoy the majority of the pods now. I also think the other pod (View from the Findus) has some redeeming features too, and I listen to that one as well.

I just wish these groups of podcasters actually had a good season to review! I obviously missed out during the conference season, having not even been aware of its existence.

Don’t get me wrong, each contributor has the odd annoying habit or characteristic, but you can bet your backside people would say the same about me if I was on there! For starters, how they refrain from swearing every sentence during this particular season is beyond me, fair play to them.

Will have to come up with a new game once JT finishes as well...."  half away" and "ironic cheers" were guaranteed a few swigs...

It’s one of those isn’t it - I get the point, I’ve done podcasts at work - noticed I say all sorts of filler words and can’t listen back.

On the other hand - they’re doing it on their own time, add something to the town fanbase, especially to an exile like me and I wouldn’t want to criticise in case they stopped and we’d be poorer for it.

Maybe the drinking game is the way forward, perhaps not on a Sunday or Monday night though!

No-one's getting paid for this stuff you know

It's a great podcast and a welcome contribution to the Town discussion and wider community

I love the fact both Town podcasts are very different in style and content. For an obscure 80s home computer magazine reference, one is like Crash and the other Sinclair User. I used to buy them both and I listen to both of these.

Both also feel like a new version of the Sing When We're Fishing Fanzine which we desperately need outside the official PR guff.
