The attendance today just over 6500 what a joke.
I don’t know who comes up with these figures but they are getting it wrong somewhere.
We thought about 7700-8000 realistically.

1,100 empty seats on the Osmond including the corner?

So that leaves 7,300 compared to a cup full house. 800 STH no shows? Seems alot I must admit.

Scunny declared 7,511 today for their Community Day game with 1,150 from Chester. Freebies given out plus bring a friend for a tenner for STH. Works well with a terrace. Not really that attractive with BP with way it is. Who would give up a good seat in the Upper or Lower for a poorer view from the Ossie.

MK Dons on a Tuesday night will be the lowest crowd of the season won't it ?

Maybe that's the sort of game they could do an offer for as there will be plenty of empty seats .

"Swings & Roundabouts" for me, i guess you can over advertise/ promote / Hype it up..
You can"t  predict a result  because i would have given my back teeth to have been in the Findus upper for that 5-5 game.
If we had lost today  fans would be screaming for DA's blood ...This game was pushed  "Pack the Park"  and yet there was empty seats SO WHAT !!! Today it was the result for 3 points at the end of the day , did it for me.

Many with the 'reserved' stickers on , after all the pumpings some had obviously had enough at least for this week .

Could well be fans who have to travel to home games and couldn't be arsed for today as well as those that even though they have a season ticket miss many games.

A mate of mine has a season ticket but only makes about one game a month.

Why this debate on attendances every week?

We had 6500 in today for a bottom of the table clash with about a 100 or so away fans, which is pretty remarkable in my opinion.

Can't we just be pleased that our crowds are greatly increased over the last three seasons?

What was the away effort attendance wise, given it was a relegation 6 pointer and they had free travel I am curious to know just how shite FGs fan base is?

God I hope they go down, good riddance...

You're a strange fellow, you spent your Friday night on here, and now what I can only assume is your Monday lunch break? Unless you don't work which is most likely.

It’s easier to multi task when you've got six fingers.

If you watch the highlights you can empty seats in the pony  main osmond. Away corner (Osmond-Main) was very poorly filled.

Bit surprised you were allowed to use the felt-tip pens to be honest, David.  Supervised I presume?

If you take the disparity in away attendances and the fact Lincoln massive go on seats sold rather than our bums on seats count there is very little in the home average attendance of both clubs this season even with you flying high in league 1 and us being firmly near the dropline David .

Mappers does that explain the approx 1300 rise ,admittedly 300 or so more away fans???

Im currently not fit to drive to the games so missed it and not on a lunch break but am on the sofa unable to walk far.Want to buy a Barnsley tkt( one of your yorkshire rivals) and coach tkt but not fit to commit to one yet .I dont have 6 fingers but 8 ,4 on each hand with a thumb on each as well.

What's up, doctors finally operated on the webbing between your toes and fingers or have they had to surgically remove your member from your sisters rectum?..

I see you haven’t mentioned there was an offer on last Saturday with reduced prices, £10 ticket, for concessions, but that wouldn’t help your narrative. Lincoln have had lesser crowds than Grimsby for pretty much the whole of their existence but this has turned the last few years and there is no doubt you have maintained a larger home following than even the most avid Imps fan would have expected.

Its also easy to overlook the fact that since the University came to town Lincoln has prospered on the back of government investment in transforming buildings in the centre whilst Grimsby has been left to fend for itself following the destruction of the fishing industry. Lincoln’s population increases by over 15000 in term time and if just 2% of these trundle down to the Bank that’s an additional 300 on your gate.

Would like to say I’m sorry to hear of your poor health but hopefully it gets to the stage where it prevents you posting your excrement on here every other day.

Comparing home attendances is almost meaningless now. Port Vale sold 6,500 season tickets - nearly 1000 more than Lincoln, but are declaring (proper) attendances of under 5k on a regular basis. Bradford declared an attendance for a midweek game of 16k, yet Bradford fans on Football Forum admitted the number in the ground was well under 10k.

There are many youngsters who read the Fishy. Would you like your young children or grandchildren to read such filth on a football forum. It is perhaps OK to swear to an extent but there must be something wrong with you and the people who condone this talk.I don't have a young family but if I did I would certainly stop them reading the Fishy in future which would possibly lower their enthusiasm to support GTFC.

They had an offer on against Fleetwood as well with an adult and a junior ticket for just £15. Still 2000 empty seats. Their second best season in 50 odd years and still can't fill their ground even when putting on offers. Huge.

To be honest, I can't imagine any children are saying 'Dad, can I be a sad illegitimate like you and over analyse ever morsel of information that comes out the club, pleaaassseee?'

Frankly if you support Town and have never heard bad language, you must watch it from one of Jupiter's moons.

I sit in the family section of the Main and I regularly hear language that could peel wallpaper.

That's not to say it's right etc etc etc.

But come on. Kids have access to the internet, the stuff they see here is like Enid Blyton.

Also, I though we'd established not so long ago following a Fishy audit, that the average age on here is about 84?

Take it you expect kids to wear ear defenders at games then?...
And I'm sorry pal, but compared to what kids see and read on the Internet, my "filth" looks like a ladybird book....
