*TUESDAY*
Plenty of seats still available in most stands so therefore seat count will commence nearer the weekend, watch this space.

*WEDNESDAY*
Still plenty of availability in all stands therefore no seat count to take place. Yet.

I'm sure there will be a decent turnout in the end, but I get the feeling people are completely drunk off with us being in this position again and are expecting the team to do the heavy lifting this time.

The support the team have had has been great in terms of numbers and support but it's not much of a marketing campaign - "get yourselves down to BP to fight yet another relegation battle despite not having Fenty anymore.."

The crowd will respond even at this low point if the team turn up.

I think this is correct. I just don’t have the heart or motivation to do the 180 mile round trip this Saturday, spending all that money and time to watch yet another team likely stroll through our defence at ease. The drive back from the Donny game in the dark and motorway rain has hit hard.
I can see the crowd being more like 5k this Saturday.

Yes that might be the official available numbers, but I think there will be lots and lots of no show season ticket holders. I’ve not made my mind up yet, but felt so depressed after the Donny game, I’m not sure I want to feel like that again.

With it only being Wednesday these figures are pretty good. I don't believe numbers will fall as some predict, as whether we like it or not, there is something perversely exciting about a relegation battle. There is something to play for and get behind (League survival), rather than wallowing in mid table mediocrity. Don't get me wrong I would take mediocrity than relegation. But, as we find ourselves in this position we might as well use it to ignite a bit of passion and emotion for the remainder of the season. I predict the home end will be pretty much sold out come 3pm on Saturday. My only concern is how these players will react and on previous showings it doesn't look promising. Lets hope, as Artell says in the Telegraph today "Town have turned a corner". UTM.

I think the game presents a bit of a conundrum for people. In the one hand it’s a huge game, but on the other it’s for entirely the wrong reasons and we’ve been absolutely dogshíte at home. I think the latter elements will largely win out in the decision making; one for the purists, as they say.

I can’t do it. Chest infection and Town just making it worse. Not sure I have the stomach for it either. My nerves are shot and I don’t think I’d even enjoy it if we won.

So, guaranteed a win now I’m not going.

If we are 2-0 down there is absolutely no chance of that. Hard to see how there could or even should be. Home supporters have already swallowed whopping amounts of crud. Go 2-0 down and there will be a backlash.

If we go 2-0 down to FGR I would expect the atmosphere at the Donny game to be like a picnic compared to what would happen on Saturday.

Let's try some optimism...

It's a long journey from the edge of the West country to the jewel of the east coast.

They'll be more tired than our lot after a tough game midweek.

The draw v Wrexham will have felt like a loss - they hung on for a huge chunk of the game only to drop 2 points in extra time. That may have affected confidence as well.

They may have picked up an injury or 2.

We should have the car crash and illness victims back.

Hopefully a raucus BP and a freezing cold wind will make their visit very unpleasant.

Understood the backlash at 4-1 and 5-1 v Donny but it should never happen at 2-0 when there is a chance to get something. We came back from 2-0 down at their place

We were 2-0 down at home inside 10 mins or so for the second week running, with the 6-1 Walsall hammering still in the rear view mirror. Under normal circumstances I’d broadly agree with you, but Town fans have really had the thin end of the wedge lately.

Yes but what does it achieve berating them, sweet FA. We need to still try and encourage them as difficult as that may be. It could make the difference of staying up, isn’t it worth trying to do that?

That’s perfectly rational and we could all agree, but it would be a pure emotional reaction and a cumulative output after weeks of home humiliations.

It should be up to the players to do their bit as well, if they don't and we are getting dicked again then are you that naive to expect the fans to be on their feet cheering them on.

Quite right. Not many on this site would turn out good work if "employers" stood around them shouting obscenities. Why not try it with the window cleaner and see if the windows are streak-free.

Yes but what if the window cleaner keeps breaking your windows with his ladder, or keeps eyeing up the wife or whatever the window cleaner equivalent is of getting hammered at home by average sides?

If the window cleaner wasn't doing his job and cleaning the windows I would just tell him to fwck right off.

As I have previously said, it's up to the players to do the good work and losing by 5 or 6 at home is to put it mildly......sh!t.

If they turn up and perform well the crowd will back them.

Yes get well soon - I’m not sure watching Town would be good healthwise.

I cant be there or watch online. Arrangements made a while ago when this looked to be a mundane fixture with “higher profile” games to come. I’m going to turn my phone off as well - it buzzes when there is a goal.

GTFC window cleaners are not eyeing up wives, or breaking windows, they're letting in goals or not scoring, and and some "fans" are not helping the cause by berating them whilst they are carrying out orders of trainers and coaches. Just because you spent money on a ticket does not give you the right of "bad behaviour". Think for a moment a young lady serving you with a  Burger and you pointing and screaming at her that she's useless. There is no excuse.

This forum and other forums is where you vent your spleen,  not BP.  Players/others have a choice of entering/not entering and reading what you think about them, but they don't have that at BP.

Certainly looks like the most home tickets sold this season. In fact, probably for a long time back. The two blocks of the Osmond is about 800 compared to 500 in the corner. Hopefully no shows from STH is lower than typical.

As a season ticket holder, I think this is a game you go out of your way to make it to. Irrespective of how dross the home form has been, it’s just such an extraordinarily important game you get yourself there by hook or by crook.

Wherever the fault lies for this clusterfúck of a season, it certainly ain’t the fans.

The fans doing all they can it’s up to the players and management now.
Some teams must look at our support and say how are they consistently at the bottom of the league.

As a season ticket holder, I think this is a game you go out of your way to make it to. Irrespective of how dross the home form has been, it’s just such an extraordinarily important game you get yourself there by hook or by crook.

Would love that to be the case but with young kids I can’t get back to watch Town as much as I would like. We are all season ticket holders (including all the kids) but been to very few games, including today unfortunately

I’m a season ticket holder. Didn’t go. I’m not well at the moment and my lad is autistic. The latter means he really takes losses to heart. Especially as the team he plays for on a Sunday is not doing well either.

Both of us needed a break. No regrets. Been going since 82. Everyone’s situation is different. Doesn’t mean we don’t care. So glad we won today.
