Simple question.........Game on or Off. I suppose if it stops raining soon we stand a chance of it being on as we have brilliant  ground staff.

Really? The forecast I’m looking at has less than 1mm of rain due between now and kick off. Is it tanking it down now? I’m in North Yorkshire.

It was binning it down about an hour ago, but seems to have stopped now.

Unfortunately, I'm away on holiday tomorrow so the game will, no doubt, be a classic!

Not much afoot weatherwise between now & kick off. I guess that if its playable now it should be on - if not its off. Simples.

They do that to me too. Play like world-beaters when I'm away.

In the three seasons up to the 2010 relegation I missed ten home games in total when abroad. W7 D2 L1. When you look at how bad our home record was, that is quite uncanny. I was sometimes doing 40+ games a season and invariably missed the biggest home win.

The season (probably ten years ago now) that was our one of if not our best ever away season I think went away around 8 times and only saw us win once maybe twice.

I’m sure that the groundstaff will have looked at the weather forecast and taken appropriate measures to prevent all the rain getting through.

If the ground staff are out with those roller barrel things tomorrow morning - game is off - it aint worked as yet as I recall.

It literally worked a few weeks ago. Was it the Crewe game that they somehow managed to get on, using those very same rollers?

Just taken the dog out to do her business. Had a walk on the grass . It’ll be fine. Quite firm, as was her business.
