'If done right' is exactly the issue, however. Hopefully, it will be successful, because we could certainly do with that end of the prom having a bit more use. My clubbing days are long gone, however!

Could be. Hope its been done up as it was a grufty dirty cold space last time I looked in.

The only other venue of that sort of capacity is The Auditorium but I guess it will be a different target audience.

I seem to recall a pub of this name in the basement of Victoria Mill. It didn't last for long but was an excellent venue.

Was that its name? I have tried to track it down before bug never could turn up any trace of it....I remember it had a red phone box inside.

Thank you. Think I saw a young Anji Kreft (?) local soul singer perform there....who went on to be a TV presenter later in life.
